We are so excited
to announce this year's theme for our Dance &
Discovery camp: Fairytales. This brand-new
camp for 8-11 year olds is designed for those dancers
who have outgrown Flower Fairy camp but want a broader
artistic experience than Summer Intensive.
There's a daily ballet class and a chance to
sample other dance genres. Participants will
learn character dances from Swan Lake and the Little
Red Riding Hood & Wolf variation from Sleeping
Beauty, take a modern/contemporary class, and discover
how to be a dance maker in a fun choreography workshop.
The amazingly talented Laska Whitaker has
planned some fantastic art activities, including
creating a personalized dance bag with silk screen and
applique, making headbands, and doing a guided
landscape painting. Ms. Laska was the EBT
costume designer before Cathy Walker. She teaches
sewing, has designed her own clothing line, and has a
Masters Degree in Environmental Science. She is
passionate about repurposing materials into new
creations.
The four-day camp is July 15-18 from
9am-12:30pm, and costs $160 (all materials
included). It's only offered once, so secure
your dancer's spot by registering today.
Thanks!

Stage and screen
gem Karine Plantadit is coming to EBA from July
23-25 for Session 3 of Summer Intensive.
Raised in Cameroon and now based in New York City, Ms.

Tuesday though Thursday. On Tuesday from 12-2pm, she
will also give a lecture on auditioning, competing, and
forging a career path.
Parents of registered students are welcome to attend
and ask questions. This is an amazing opportunity for
